The Chi Room Policies

ARRIVAL

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to review your history and discuss your planned treatment goals. As a courtesy to other customers, if you are late for your appointment, we may need to shorten your treatment.

GUESTS AND CHILDREN

As a Boutique Salon entry is restricted to the person with the booking only. For your comfort and for safety reasons, we do not allow babies or children to accompany parents to appointments.

YOUR COMFORT

Your comfort is paramount, and everybody is different. Please tell us if you need us to alter the room temperature, massage pressure, number of pillows, music, conversation level or anything else.

MOBILE PHONES

To ensure you and all customers have a tranquil experience, we request your mobile phone be turned to silent when you enter the Clinic.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Whilst all care is taken, we cannot guarantee any of our treatments are completely free from traces of allergens, or appropriate for any medical condition. Please seek prior medical advice if concerned. Patients being treated for chronic medical conditions, or cancer, must provide a written clearance from their doctor.

PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING

Pregnancy and breastfeeding brings various hormonal changes and often increased sensitivity, consequently for your safety, some treatments are contraindicated, and others may require modification. We recommend that you check with your doctor on your individual needs and phone us prior to booking online to ensure that we can provide the treatment you require.

HEALTH

When booking for the first time, you will be sent consultation forms that ask you to detail your Medical history, current medical conditions and medications. It is vital all information is provided accurately and returned prior to your visit to ensure your treatment is safe and suitable. All information is held in the strictest confidence. If your health conditions have changed since first completing the forms, please advise us as soon as possible and prior to your next treatment to allow us to make the necessary adjustments.

If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

HYGIENE & COVID 19

The Chi Room uses disposable tools where possible. All towels are changed, and all non-disposable tools and surfaces are disinfected / sanitised between every customer.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed for the treatment/s nominated, or the original card purchase value can be used towards other services or products of choice. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

Products purchased may be returned for a full refund within 7 days providing the goods have not been worn or used, damaged, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product. All products must be returned in their original condition. In the event you have had a reaction to a product applied during treatment or purchased, please contact the clinic immediately and we will endeavour to remedy the situation. In this case, we may require you to complete a form for our reporting to the manufacturer.

BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

A credit card, gift card or prepayment is required at the time of booking to hold all appointments. Please advise a change or cancellation of your appointment at least 24 hours prior, via phone or email to wellness@thechiroom.com.au. If you fall ill within the 24 hours cancellation period and cancel your appointment, no penalty will apply if a Doctor’s Certificate is produced.

Respectfully, late cancellations or changes without a medical certificate, will incur the full appointment fee unless the place can be refilled.

PRIVACY

All information collected via our webpage or social media is treated with the strictest confidentiality and is only accessible to staff of The Chi Room Pty Ltd. No information is provided nor collected from any third party or affiliate member. We only collect information for the purpose of providing you with information you have requested and consented to. Any financial and medical information you provide is used solely for the purpose of providing you with services requested and assessing (for health and safety purposes) your suitability for receiving requested treatments.

The Chi Room deposits are processed via Phorest Software, for online bookings, and processes payments using Stripe Payment Gateway.
